USES Soma is used to treat pain and discomfort from muscle injuries such as strains, sprains, and spasms. It works on the nerves to relieve muscle pain. Soma may also relieve pain by calming your nervous system.

HOW TO TAKE Take soma by mouth with or without food, usually 4 times a day. Dosage is based on your medical condition and response to therapy. Do not increase your dose, take it more frequently or use it for a longer time than prescribed.

SIDE EFFECTS Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, unusually fast heartbeat, low blood pressure, face flushing,  weakness, inability to move your legs/arms, shaky/unsteady movement, pain in your joints, vision changes,  widened pupils, mental/mood changes, rash, itching, swelling, trouble breathing.

PRECAUTIONS Before taking soma it is highly crucial of you to inform your doctor of yours and your family medical history in detail and of any other recent or current medication treatment. Use caution while committing an activity that requires clear vision and alertness. Limit alcoholic beverages. The elderly may be more sensitive to its side effects. Soma should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. It may have undesirable effects on a nursing infant. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. Do not stop, restart or change treatment without informing your doctor.

OVERDOSE If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. US residents can call the US national poison hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Canadian residents should call their local poison control center directly.

MISSED DOSE If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.

STORAGE Store soma in a tightly closed container at room temperature between 59-86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight. Keep away from children and pets.
